Face it - it's tough out there. Men are battling divorce, pornography, adultery and conflict. Homes and families are being torn apart, and the pressures and demands of work and tough times are seeping into family and personal life. The need for Godly men has never been more crucial than it is today.
James Merritt developed Impact1 Conferences to teach and encourage men to grow in their faith and to learn how to reach their fullest potential in every area of life.
You don't have to go it alone! Impact1 conferences will equip you to not only survive the stress of daily life, but to rise above and become a powerful leader in your family, church, workplace and community.
For information on hosting an Impact1 Conference in your area, please call us at 800-413-1131.
Here are the Impact1 conferences currently scheduled. They're open to any man who wants to attend, so if you see one in your area, call the number listed to make your reservation!
Most Impact1 conferences are community-wide events - that is, several churches join together to promote the conference at a host church in the area.
Conferences are a relaxed affair - it's a group of men gathering to worship the Lord and to be challenged to live for Him in their daily lives. The music is inspiring, the fellowship time is fun and the Word that is delivered is challenging.
Conferences begin on Friday night and run through the following Saturday morning. Friday evening begins with a dinner at the host church and is followed by a time of worship lead by local musicians. Then Dr. Merritt brings the first message on the weekend's topic - one especially chosen to encourage and inspire men.
On Saturday morning, a hearty breakfast is served followed by more praise and worship time, door prizes and more of Dr. Merritt's exceptional messages. By noon, everyone heads home, inspired to live the life that God intends for each man.
On a hot August weekend, the tiny Tennessee town of Waynesboro hosted an Impact1 conference and something truly miraculous happened.
Waynesboro, the county seat of Wayne County, has a population of just 2,500. Yet, nearly 500 men filled the auditorium at Green River Baptist Church to overflowing and the Word of God filled their hearts.
As successful as that weekend was, its outcome wasn't assured. Listen as those who prayed over, prepared for and tirelessly organized the Impact1 conference give their account of how God moved in their community...
