Serve: Opening My Gifts

If you are a follower of Christ, you have been called to be a minister for Christ, to serve others with the gifts and talents you’ve been given. What’s more, you will maximize your fulfillment in life, your enjoyment of life, and your impact in life when you find the sweet spot of serving other people. A disciple called Peter wrote a book called I Peter in which there are several reasons why we should not look at serving as something we have to do, but something we should want to do. All Things New

As we near the end of another year, we can have a renewed sense of hope that what is coming will be better than what has been. The past couple of years have been tough for our community, our nation, and our world. But that doesn’t mean that we have to lose hope. We’re not looking for a restart, but a reset. In this series, we’re going to look at how we can experience a reset when we surrender it all to Jesus. After all, the only life worth living is the one spent following Him. He is the Way. He is the Truth. He is the Life. And He is our only hope if we want to stay hopeful in a world that makes us feel as if all hope is lost.

Bible Reference

As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace:
whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
