Betrayal

Had job as office manager 6 years at small company owned & run by a wonderful Christian man. It was truly a family, as the boss was always telling us. My favorite job of the 47 years I’d worked & regularly received “pats on the back” from boss & clients. Had to be off 8 weeks for surgery & recovery for cancer. Told it was no problem, but when released by doctor to return to work my boss called me ON THE PHONE & told me I was bad for the company & could not return! To say I was shocked, hurt & confused can’t begin to explain how I felt. Coworkers just as shocked. This just didn’t make sense to any of us! The boss refused to tell me why, but did tell his best friend & forbade him to tell to tell me. His best friend left his job there a month after this occurred because he was so upset about way I was treated. It’s been several months now & try as I may I cannot get over it. So here I sit again, ruminating & crying. Please pray with me that I can let go of this & the future l thought I was going to have & move forward, into the plan God is prepared for me. Thank you so much.

Healing my heart

I am going through a storm right now that seems overwhelming. I pray everyday, several times a day, but sometimes the storm just seems to overtake everything and I feel like I am drowning. My heart hurts from a loved ones betrayal. They see nothing wrong with what they have done, and apparently what they continue to do. I need prayers for comfort and healing of my broken heart. I am doing my best to forgive them, but I sometimes need help to remind myself that they caused this issue and not me.

Blessings for my Son

I watch Dr Merritt every Sunday morning and he has truly been a comfort! I want to ask for prayers for my son who has been working so hard these past few years and struggles just seem to continue. He is a strong believer but because of all the setbacks his faith has been shaken. As his Mother I worry but know my Lord and Savior is always with him and this will not last. Please pray for an abundant financial breakthrough for him and his family. He will surely pass it on to others! Thank you so much and God Bless you and this Ministry!

Strength and comfort

My family lost our father on 02/28/24, we all need help coping and finding any purpose in life in this tragic time. I also am in need of prayers, as my husband left me, moved out a week after loosing my father. I need strength and guidance during this conflicting and challenging time. I’m praying that the Lord will bring my husband back together with me and we can rebuild a stronger bond, if it’s God’s will. I really need strength to navigate in such a fragile time in my life.

Nasal Polyps/Asthma

I feel like I should not bother anyone with this issue. Especially my Heavenly Father. He knows my plight. I need healing on the Nasal Polyps. I have not been able to breathe through my nose since before Covid. I am not a candidate for Nasal Surgery because I have a Blood Disorder called Factor 5 & I take blood Thinners. Sometimes the nose throbbing & Swelling of the Polyps is just terrible. I would so appreciate "Healing Prayers" I know God can heal me! 🙏 I believe. Thank you.

How can I make our marriage better

Hi James, thanks for your many messages I have watched on television. My wife and I have real struggles in our marriage, but the biggest challenge is dealing with sex in marriage. We have been married 31 years, and the last eleven have been sexless. After awhile I got tired of being alone, mainly because we work different shifts, and have different priorities. She wants to help take care of our grandson, but I feel left out of the picture in most instances. So I have pleaded with my wife about sex, but she complains about her virgina hurting during sex. But I told her why don’t you see a doctor, but I think she acknowledges that, but won’t do anything about it. Last year about this time, I had an affair online, which ended in disaster. But my wife afterwards wanted to find out if I wanted to divorce or stay married with her, so I decided to stay with her, but our intimacy hasn’t grown one ioada since we got back together. Do you have any answers to our problems. I know I saw a pastor who said to me about 1 Corinthians 7 about married couples in sex, but if she doesn’t budge, what can I do? And of course, pray for us. Lord bless you in all you do.

Grandsons

Hello Touching Lives, I'm requesting prayer for my three grandsons. Their biological fathers are not active in their lives. Please pray for that God provides and protects them spiritually, physically, and emotionally. Pray that God opens a door for me to take them to church and pray that my motive and heart is right in making this request. Pray that God continues to give me strength to help take care of them at my age. Pray that both of my adult children and the other millennials in my life give their life to Christ and live for Him. Wayward husband

I am asking for prayers for my husband. He lost his brother last summer to cancer, and he has not been the same since his brother was first diagnosed 3 years ago. He has become a very different person. He is quick to say something negative and hurtful, he has lied and then says that he never said what he said, he has pushed the people away that care about him and now seems to avoid them, and he has become very close to another woman who he keeps saying they are just good friends. I have been so worried about him. I am asking for prayers for God to help him accept his brother's death, to turn to God for help and forgiveness, for healing of his mind and emotions, and to return him to wife and family who love him so much.

Help for my mother and sister

My mother is 95. She is on hospice but has dementia and is confused about things. My eldest sister is her caregiver and she is 76 and struggling with her health. My sister Judy and Barbara are going to be discussing how best mom needs care in the near future. I live far away from my mom and sisters. I just had a visit with them. There is deep sadness in me by the needs I see in my mother and sister lives. She needs relief from the constant care of my mom. She applied for Elder Sources today and they are being evaluated for approval. She has asked for prayers that they get approved. My sister is also requesting that her old house in New Smyrna beach sale so that this albatross can be taken off her shoulders. Please pray for us. Thank you.

Dear Prayer Partners, I am very grateful for your unwavering prayers and support. As I continue to recover from emergency open heart surgery on September 11, 2023, I continue to request your prayers for the Lord to bless me to recover fully and completely and to make me completely whole – physically, spiritually, financially and mentally. Please pray for the pain to become limited and the healing to be effective. I have experienced some insomnia, anxiety, heart palpitations and dry mouth. Please pray for no further or repeat ailments and for me to heal correctly with no frustrations and future complications. I ask for prayers for several medical concerns (sleep apnea, toe, eyes, gastrointestinal) that I am being reviewed for but trusting the Lord for complete healing. During this time of uncertainty, I thank you for joining me in praying that the Lord will provide a financial miracle that will exceed my expectation – exceeding and abundantly. I truly need a consistent income that will help me pay my bills on time. Please pray that the Lord will direct me and instruct me to significant source. I ask your prayers for the Lord to keep me in His loving care - while I stand in his steadfast love, power, His presence and promises for an abundant supply of his love, grace, favor, provisions and mercy.

Please pray for my friend (for salvation. He is a church goer and says he prayed the Sinner's Prayer years ago) and that he get over his mad spell with me (He had a falling out with me over a week ago). Please pray for Mt Carmel Baptist Church (my mother's church) and Union Grove Baptist church. Both churches are without a piano player. Please pray for the Lord to send both churches piano players and Mt. Carmel Baptist church a song director as well.

Confused Child

Please pray for my son who is struggling with homosexuality. He knows that he is a man, and that God does not want him to live that lifestyle, but I know he still sneaks and indulges. He has the wrong type of people around him that are not true Christians and they believe that God is okay with this type of life. I have tried to relay God's instructions about this type of life in love. But I believe that he is blocking me out. I'm so afraid that he is going to lose his life and end up in hell. I love my child and I raised him to obey the Lord. We had home bible study and prayed together. I believe that he is being selfish and putting his desires before the Lord. Please pray with me that his eyes will come open and he will change his company of friends or that the Lord will remove these corrupt people from around him. He belongs to God and he is a "first born male" and he is a leader. Thank you kindly for praying with me.

Malignant melanoma diagnosis stage 4 family member

A very close lifelong family friend goes to oncology surgeon today for complete diagnosis, prognosis and treatment plan today. By the Grace of God and he healing touch I pray it has not metastasized internally in any way. She is also trying to raise 3 grandchildren due to daughter becoming an addict. Prayers for the addicted mother as well, as she is about to take her children home that is unfit in every way. Thank you and in Jesus name I Pray and Believe all will be well and in both situations and the Angels of protection will be with the babies and their mother as well.

SALVATION

Please pray for G that God will lead him unto salvation that he will repent and receive Jesus Christ as lord. I pray that God the father will change his heart to his wife and family that he may see the lies of the enemy and that he may be reconciled to his family in Jesus name amen
