Have you ever wondered if your service to God really makes a difference?

A firefighter once explained that when someone is electrocuted, they always have an exit wound. The electrical energy doesn't just disappear inside the body—it has to create an outlet. 

What a powerful picture of how spiritual gifts work! Your gifts express what Jesus's power looks like through you. When His power flows into you, it doesn't just stay there—it must find an outlet.

You have been given supernatural power. Romans 12:6: "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us." God designed you to be a conduit of His grace. 

God has equipped you with specific gifts designed to meet specific needs. Your unique combination of abilities isn't accidental—it's purposeful. The church will never rise higher than the number of people actively serving with their gifts.

When you hold back your gifts, you're not just affecting yourself—you're limiting the entire body of Christ. The gifts and power that God has placed within you need to find an outlet.

Take inventory of your abilities. What comes naturally to you? What do others affirm in you? These are clues to how God has gifted you. Then look for one practical way to let that gift flow outward this week.

The world needs to see Jesus in action through you.

Prayer: Father, thank You for equipping me with gifts to serve Your kingdom. Help me identify my spiritual gifts clearly and use them boldly. Don't let Your power remain dormant in me, but create an exit wound that blesses others. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
