Magnetic Personality

November 13, 2016

Matthew 16:13-18: People buy-in to a person before they buy-in to a message. The crowds didn’t gather to see Jesus because He was a dynamic speaker. People were drawn to Him because of what was in Him. Jesus was magnetic because He brought the love and the grace of God and gave it to those He encountered. He met their needs. He fed them spiritually, and He was a living, breathing example of our Heavenly Father.

When we live and serve as Jesus teaches, people will be drawn to Christ through us. Join us as we find out how we, as believers, can move from being merely attractive to being truly magnetic.

Now when Jesus came into the district of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?”
And they said, “Some say John the Baptist, others say Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”
Simon Peter replied, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”
And Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
