Right From the Start

If you are an unmarried believer, understand that every date is a potential mate, so look to date only believers. If you are married already but your spouse is an unbeliever, take heart! There is always hope for your spouse. Let your unbelieving spouse see the difference that Jesus makes in your life. Finally, if you are married to a believer, give thanks to God for you both share in the same love and the same hope that is only available through Jesus.

Join Pastor Merritt for this teaching series on the foundations of successful biblical marriage. In an age where so many marriages are ending, journey with us through the Bible to find healthy new beginnings for marriages that will stand the test of time.

Bible Reference

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?
What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever?
What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you,
and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.”
