One of the best ways to stay energized, optimistic, and joyful is to worship! Perhaps the purpose of worship sometimes gets lost in the shuffle of the Christian life. Psalm 100:3 tells us the purpose of worship is to “Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His. We are His people, the sheep of His pasture.” In other words, the purpose of our worship is not for our gain, but for God’s glory.
